Leave Your Town

Wow another awesome QT session!

Today during service God spoke to me. Another level of growing me spiritually.
I have tolerated sin all along. Today God broke that mindset. Detest it!
Detesting is the right word. Irritated because it keeps hindering us.
A new level of breakthrough today.
Because I carry His Name, therefore my stature must be built.

Then at QT I did "Hosanna"..
"Heal my heart and make it clean.
Open up my eyes to the things unseen.
Show me how to love like You have love me."

Allow one's heart to be rid of all sin. Make it clean.
Allow God to make us see things differently. We sin because we only saw things at a certain view.
We only see fear, insecurity, faithlessness, impatience, rage.
These are things that causes us to be blind.
These are things that gives opportunities for temptations to set in.

Jesus couldn't sin because He has love for people. He was tempted yet He did not give in.
For His sacrifice is going to worth more than sinning. He gave all that He had.
When we choose to sacrifice and put God and people first, all the things that had blinded us will also then sacrificed!

A reading of the bible reaffirms this. Mark 8:22-30 talks about Jesus taking a blind man out of his town to heal him. He layed hands on the man for the first time and he could only have a blur vision, but was completely clear on the second! Jesus then sent him away and tell him not to go into the town.

God also takes the blinded ones out of their town. A town speaks of the heart. You know where people come from by hearing them speak and act. For example the French are sophiscated and proud, Singaporeans are kiasu and speaks singlish! Therefore out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

We sin because we are blinded by the town we lived inside of our hearts. Therefore God will bring us out of our towns and cause us to see the way He see things. When we see the way He sees, it holds truths and sets us free. And commanded the blind never to go back to the town or even give chance for the town to communicate to us again.

Not to worry if we fall again during the process of cleansing. The blindman couldn't see clearly at first. But he was completely healed later. We can never gauge God's time, be patient and persevere

Leave your town and set your thoughts to God's thoughts. When we see differently, we act differently.
Amen.

(this is a post that is going to minister to myself and hopefully others too!)
