My Birth Story

Hmm I think it should be like this as told by my mother.

My mom got married at the around 20+ towards 30. But she could not conceive for the next 9-10years. She was a dedicated buddhist and would go to temples and pray that she would give birth to a child. Until sometime later before my grandmother, who was a dedicated Christian, pass away, told my mom that she will conceive a child and then she will also turn to believe in Christ. But my mom refused to believe and rebuke her saying that she will not be the same as my grandmother. But true enough, my mother gave conceive me after 10years of struggle and also gave her life to Jesus after saying a prayer like this, "God if you are so real, bless me with a child." This is after translation.

During her pregnancy, she fell and injured her back. Then one night at the hospital, she had a vision of a man in white came and touch her back and immediately her back was healed!

There are still some miracles that happened during the pregnancy which I forgot already. But I think this alone is already amazing!

And then I was dedicated by a former Reverend of my previous church. I was named Samuel because like Hannah, my mother was unable to conceive and was blessed with a boy after her sincere and faithful prayer. And I was dedicated to serve God for the rest of my life. Guess what my mom wants me to be? A Pastor!!! -.-"
And I was also named Jia En which means to add blessings. Add blessings to others I guess. hehe. Guess this clicks with being a Pastor. O.o"
